FOUNDATIONS™ Book, Fourth Edition
In 2009, Martin Engineering published FOUNDATIONS™ 4th Edition, the Practical Resource for Cleaner, Safer, More Productive Dust & Material Control. Available as a hardcover reference book or for internet download, FOUNDATIONS™ 4 provides a thorough discussion of topics and techniques for improving the performance of belt conveyors.

3 Levels of Training to Match Your Needs

In 2011, Martin Engineering expanded its program of FOUNDATIONS™ workshops into three seminars to fit the needs of individuals and companies with varied levels of experience and responsibility.

Level 1 FOUNDATIONS™ Basic Workshop

  • Basic introduction to belt conveyors and their components, and conveyor safety considerations.

Level 2 FOUNDATIONS™ Operations and Maintenance Workshop

  • In-depth look at methods to improve the safety, performance, and payback of belt conveyors, through controlling fugitive material and improving system efficiency.

NEW OPTION

FOUNDATIONS™ Training Now Available On-line
The Level 2 FOUNDATIONS™ Operations and Maintenance Workshop is also available as on-line training. The internet-based program is composed of nine modules totaling between 10 and 12 hours of content. Each module concludes with a quiz; finishing all modules earns the learner a certificate of completion.

Level 3 FOUNDATIONS™ Advanced Seminar

  • Focused on the improvement of belt conveyor systems, and the justification of the investment in systems to reduce fugitive material, control dust, extend component life, and improve the performance of both conveyor system and plant personnel.
