To absorb the impact from the loading of high volumes or large lumps of
material, belt conveyors should be equipped with the EVO® Impact Cradle under
the loading zone.

EVO® Impact Cradles from Martin Engineering utilize energy-absorbing impact bars to absorb impact energy, preventing damage to the belt and structure, and stabilizing the belt's line of travel to reduce fugitive material.
Each impact bar features a top layer of low friction urethane material to minimize friction against the moving belt. Below is an energy-absorbing layer of Martin Engineering's Maximizer™ Urethane, that will cushion loading impact.
Like the rest of the EVO® Modern Conveyor Architecture, the Impact Cradle features track-mounted sub-assemblies. The individual impact bars slide into position on the section supports, and the sections slide into position under the belt, making for quick and easy installation, inspection and maintenance.
EVO® Impact Cradle complies with CEMA Standard 575-2000 Medium Duty Rating, for impacts up to 12,000 of force.
MARTIN® Conveyor Transfer Points are custom-engineered by Martin Engineering to eliminate blockages, reduce impact, centralize loading and guarantee the material flow rate.
